Community fund donation to local children's home

Our managers, Rhys Jenkins and Nathan Pritchard, were delighted to represent Brecongate at the residential home, where they had the privilege of presenting the bike to the team and meeting the dedicated staff. During their visit, they witnessed the enthusiasm and gratitude of the employees, who work tirelessly to provide a nurturing environment for the children in their care. This experience underscored for Rhys and Nathan the impact that Brecongate’s Community Fund can have, not only by providing practical items like the bike but also by showing our support for local organizations that give so much back to the community.

For Brecongate, supporting initiatives like this is about more than just fulfilling a request, it’s about strengthening our community and making a positive difference in children’s lives. We understand that something as simple as a pushbike can have a profound effect, especially for children in residential care. Biking encourages independence, exploration, and joy, all of which are essential in helping young people build confidence and resilience. By enabling the children to engage in healthy, active play, we hope to contribute to their physical and emotional well-being, and to support the staff who work to make their environment as comfortable as possible.
