Brecongate take on the 3 peaks

Fundraising to send a family to Disneyland Paris following the dad being diagnosed with cancer.

We are raising money for a friend of Brecongate's, Alan Cook, who has recently received the devastating news that he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Alan has already undergone brain surgery to remove a tumour and is currently going through chemotherapy as well as radiotherapy in an attempt to prolong his life.

Alan is a loving dad to 6 children and a loving husband to Nicola and his dream has always been to take his family to Disneyland Paris. We are raising money in an attempt to make this dream a reality and send this family to enjoy this lifelong dream. There are a team of 8 of us from Brecongate who are training hard as we speak to undertake a difficult challenge by walking the Welsh 3 peaks in a 24 hour period with a view to raising as much money as we can for this great cause. Alan has himself done a great deal of charity work with disabled children and has a passion for helping others so please lets dig deep and help send this loving family on a lifelong holiday where they can make some incredible memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.

Every penny raised will be going directly to fund the trip as we will be paying for all expenses to undertake the challenge ourselves and ensure we reach our goal by helping this family achieve their dream.

This challenge is due to take place on Saturday, 6 October, 2018.
